Covers provide an opportunity for experimentation with materials, photography, and type. In addition, a growing need for physical media to be unique brought forward concepts of secondary functions, specialty printing, or reveals. Playing with ferro fluid, phosphorescent pigments, glitching or transforming a CD cover into a holiday ornament or map to explore while listening, all while working with next-to-nothing budgets.
